While it is wonderful you are getting companys to
change over completely to Open
Office the Question being asked is

Am I able to share my database file (created in
OpenOffice Base with users of
Microsoft Access?

I may not be able to give a complete answer but I DO
NOT believe you can.
While possible to convert MS Access File (*.mdb) to
OpenOffice Base File (*.odb)
Once Using Open Office BASE Save As Only allows you to
save in Native (*.odb)
format under a different Name and Export appears to Be
Unavailable.

If anyone can describe how to use export (which may
allow to save under
different formats I also would like to know how make a
copy of an OpenOffice
Base File that can be shared with Microsoft Users.
