Smooth Dissolve between Slides Does anyone know if Oo has a smooth Dissolve Transition between slides in Presentation (Impress)? So far, I've only seen the checkerboard, whereas Powerpoint has a lovely 'normal' dissolve where one photo just dissolves into the next like in a movie.
I haven't found it in Version 1.1 and I don't think it's in Version 2. Still only the checkerboard. Project slideshow only, while notes remain on laptop Still comparing with Powerpoint, there's a neat feature there that allows the user to view on their laptop all the notes and directions while the projected image is just the presentation content (which is all you want the audience to see). I've read (and tried) making the laptop's Open Office the no. 2 view and the projected image the no. 1, but this just completely reverses the procedure. Ideally, we want the laptop screen to remain the no. 1 and the projected image no. 2. The audience should never see what you're doing, only what you want them to see. Most movie-editing packages come with this feature as standard. I'd love to see it in Oo's Presentation! Thanks in advance for any suggestions, Seamus Byrne.
