My frustration level is absolutely maxed out! How the heck to I just import a simple table into Base? I do NOT want to keep working with the freaking Access database, I just want to import a simple table and work with it directly in Base without having to set up an external connection and have to worry about making sure to copy the other stupid file every time I want to move the Base database. I don't care about relationships, forms, or ANYTHING else. All I want is one simple table! I've been poring over the help file as well as searching the Web site, and there is absolutely NO help! I've been banging my head against this wall for weeks!
I imported the CSV file, but it went into Calc, which is absolutely no help. This is an extremely major oversight on the part of the creators of this component. What good is a database without data? You need to be able to import and export data directly! It simply is not an option to re-type thousands of records by hand when I've already exported the table to .csv, .ods, .dbf and a couple of other formats. Calc can read them, why not Base? AAAAAAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
