Thank you for this but this is not exactly what I am looking for.
I want to link text boxes together so that I can move them all as one:
so that they are always in the same physical relationship to one another.

You can link text frames so that text flows from one frame to another. Is that
what you are looking for ?
If so then have a look at "Help" -> "contents" -> link
