I hope I'm asking this question in the right forum.
How do I replace the template in a Impress presentation? I have two presentations, and old one is PowerPoint and the new one is Star Office 8. The format of the presentations are similar. How do I make the old one look like the new one? I can import the old PPT file into SO8 and it mostly looks like it did in PowerPoint. I would have thought that I could have replaced the slides in the "Slide Master" with the corresponding Master slides from the new presentation. That definitely doesn't work and cut and paste operations pop up a dialog that says "This function can not be run with the selected objects". Huh? So I definitely don't know what I'm doing.
