You appear not to be subscribed to the users mailing list.

In order to operate OpenOffice.org you do not need a password. You just
install the program and run it.
If you registered for a password in order to participate in online
discussions or for some other reason, it would be a different story. In
any case, your message did make it in to the discussion list about
openoffice questions. This discussion list is frequented by volunteers
who do their best to answer questions about OpenOffice.org.

am not sure that you are monitoring the discussion list and if you are
