well, it was NOT fun to run it, I can tell you that much... Or to be
more specific: It was a real pain. Especially when I run another 5-10

enough for me.
But as I said, I will try 2.0 again on my next machine.

Off topic: well sort of. Would you stop complaining about OOo 2.0.x?
It is not the program's fault for its slowness. It is how you are using
your computer. Part of the problem is the amount of RAM you have: get
more. For less than $50, you can double the amount you have. (This price
is for the USA.)
If you are going to be running 5-10 applications at one time, get a
computer that is capable of handling all of them efficiently. Using a 450
MHz CPU to do this is a little like pulling a 2206 pound load (1 metric
ton) with a Honda Civic. That would be more than even some small pickups
could handle.
I have no problems with a 375MHz CPU and 160 MB RAM. But then I am
patient enough to let it do its work without expecting it to be a
thoroughbred.

I was not complaining, I was just answering your question.
I can't double the amouont of memory, since maximum total RAM for my PC is
384 MB (at least they say so at Dell's web site).
I would gladely buy a much better computer if I could afford one, but I
gues that must wait for a year or two. Until then I will use Open Office
1.1.5, and I will try not to run too much at the same time, but it easy to
forget that and suddenly the computer slow like... well, slow anyway, and
refuse to do what I tell it to du and I have to restart it, again...
So maybe I am "complaining" (or rather express my feelings) at the same
time as I answer your question, but I am not complaining about you or
anyone else here (so don't take it personal), I just think that my
computer is too slow and many applications are too heavy and I can't
change that right now. If I could I would.
So, now everyone know why I don't use OOo 2.0 at the moment, right? ;)
Before I end this, I just want to thank all the helpful people here for
helping me out!
Have a nice day!
