This discussion list does not allow attachments, so a) make the XL document available somewhere where we can download it b) give us a more detailed description of what the macro does. Macros written in visual basic don't work straight out of the box in OpenOffice, however, the simple ones can be very, very easily re-created using StarBasic. Cheers, Michele
