If between <.head> and <./head> (please ignore all dots) you include the following it should overcome your problem. <.style> a {text-decoration: none;} a:link {color: black;} a:visited {color: black} a:active {color: black;} <./style>

Again ignore the dots and substitute black with the colour of your choice.

     Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org > Appearance. Scroll down to
the Unvisitied links. Check this option and change its color to the
same as your text. Check Visited links and change its color to your
text color also.
     See if this will do what you want.

No. The colour is changed, but the links remain underlined. There is no
option in "Appearance" to make them normal.
