[Using OOo_2.0.2 on Debian-Sarge (.debs got from .rpms with 'alien']

Hi all,
I've been happily using OOo_2.0 for the past couple of months every now
and then ...
Yesterday a bitter surprise: when I did a 'save as' .ods for an .ods
file I was looking at, the 'Document Recovery' screen appeared and then
OOo crashed. It is behaving like that whenever I try to save an .ods
file. Everything goes on fine if the .ods is saved as an .xls (Excel95).
Crashes happen even if I try saving to .sxc format.

In the meantime I've re-tarred the original tar.gz, aliened the .rmps to
.deb packages and re-installed, but nothing changed.
The crashes happen with other files, too.

Do you have any idea of what could be causing this?

Thanks for your attention.
Regards,
        Ennio.

[Why use Win$ozz (I say) if ... "even a fool can do that. )=(
Do something you aren't good at!" (as Henry Miller used to say) ]
