What you seem to be wanting to use is the Query part of Base. I think
that is what you want, but you have not been very clear in what you want to
do. When you mention information, are you meaning data that has been input
into a table of the database?
If what you want to do is to create a query, I do not understand your
ranting in CAP's. Query is a standard part of several database programs
including MySQL.
The information you need might be available in "Getting Started with
Base" chapter of the Getting Started Guide available at
http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/oooauthors2/index.html.
