This sounds more like a Windows issue than an OOo problem. Unless you
are using a non-US keyboard or have customized your keyboard layout, you
may find the answer by searching the following page for the word
"minimize": http://support.microsoft.com/kb/126449/

You might also check the "Tools -> Customize -> Keyboard" menu option,
to see if you have a keyboard shortcut (hotkey) set to minimize the
active window.
