Hi
I have followed the tutorial to create a database using a csv file, and I
appear to get a database. I say appear, because it doesn't exist after I close
it, because neither can I save it, or give the fields names, or add/amend
records etc. It seems to build a read only database each time I go into it.
Please how do I make a database I can save as an entity on its own, (I want to
sent it to another user) as well as use it on my machine?
If I make it in access 2000, I don't seem to be able to convert it to a Base
database either, it just links to the access database. I seem to have a lot
to learn!!
The user guide seems to talk about going into writer to deal with
protection, but I'm afraid I don't understand.
