Quite frankly I do not know why you are having problems. I can guess of
a few things that might affect you:
     1. XP security settings
     2. proxy settings
     3. Wizard is dependent on a recent JRE being installed.

Let us know if any of these are the cause.

1. I turned off the firewall and my AVG antivirus to test if this is the cause. There is still no change in the behavior of the install fonts from the web window. Clicking on this choice simply does nothing but close the window. What is supposed to happen?

2.  No proxy in use, hence no settings.
3.  Sun Java 1.5.0_06 installed
