The first thing to do is see if your download is corrupt. If you're using Firefox, check out these instructions:
http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/using_md5sums.html A quick google found this windows-based md5 GUI: http://www.toast442.org/md5/ MD5 is a way of creating a signature for a file. I'm assuming you're on Windows. If not, open up a terminal and simply run md5sum <filename>, where <filename> is the path to the download. Once you have generated the md5sum, reply to the list and paste it in. Also, provide the link that you're using to download the file. I'll see if my download gives me the same md5sum. Does anyone know where on the OOo site are a list of md5 hashes for all the downloads available? -Roberto. On 8/3/06, kenny pervenanze <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
I've been trying to download the free open office suite and everytime I do it says it's corrupt. I would like to try the package but can't seen to get a copy that is free of corruption.
