I missed that the original message was sent from Israel.  If you check
the locale, it should be Hebrew with is a Right-to-Left language and
OpenOffice.org 2.0 (or 1.1) will not override this.  So you have to
change the locale to one with a Left-to-Right language.  Since you are
trying to use the American English version, please select English (US)
through the tools -> options -> language settings -> languages -> locale
settings.

Please do not use the UK English setting.  It is broken and will be
fixed soon.
