That's not the only i18n issue with Apple's X11 :-(
Another issue that has been bothering me for a long time is the fact
that you can't use a keyboard shortcut to switch to writing in Hebrew
(or any other unicode keyboard layout) and back, so each time I mixed
languages in a document (which I do a lot) i am forced to leave the
keyboard, switch keyboard layout using the mouse and return to the
keyboard.
A real pain.
