First, the setup guide is next to useless for Mac OS X users. Second, please send messages about Mac OS X problems to the Mac OS X porting list.
David: Could you please tell use what your problems are with the Mac OS X installation guide on the Mac OS X porting list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) so we can improve this document. Since it appears that you cannot successfully download the .dmg file I will refer to several messages that I posted in the Users mail list this weekend. These take you through how to install OpenOffice.org for your MacTel. Also, I just released the American English version of OpenOffice.org 2.0.3 for both Mac platforms. There are problems using Base (the included database) and I don't recommend using it for production work until at least the next release. Very respectfully, James M.
