I tried to install a downloaded version and could not find a setup.exe.
Than i have installed OOo with the Install-Manager from the U3 and it works
fine.

Not certain I understand. Have you tried the HOW-TO on
http://documentation.openoffice.org/ and it has failed or something
else. Knowing your OS and release of OOo would also help.
