Thanks Frank, I'm using Windows XP, I'll try and find a different connector....I think my JRE is good now and I've tried JDBC but I can not find any good information on installing it...I download the zip and find it through teh archive dialog in Tools->Options->Jave but it still down not load it....is there a special place I should be putting or unpacking the JDBC to ?

Can't say much about this. If Tools/Options/Java does not find your JRE ... don't know. If it does find it, then the only additional thing you'd need to do is to add the JDBC driver to the Classpath (also in Tools/Options/Java).
