A curious and annoying anomaly:
Impress 2.0.3 on windoze XP - undock the Task Pane using the 'View' drop-down menu option 'Undock Task Pane' on the Task Pane and try to dock it . Nothing happens.
Try the same trick with 2.0.2. Linux flavour. Works perfectly.

Is this a bug? A 'special feature' of the windoze version?

Jeff.

Works great for me with 2.0.3 in WinXP. Did you watch for the outline? It is only appears for an instant, unless you get it just right, but it's not difficult.

Matt/Dan,
Thanks for responding. Don't know anything about an outline - there was just nothing happening when I hit the 'dock' option on that drop-down menu.

Eventually tried the ultimate solution: uninstall > reboot > reintall.
Undock/Dock works great. Problem fixed.

Thanks,

Jeff.

I was referring to the drag-and-dock process, not the use of a menu to
re-dock.

Thanks, Matt,

I missed that fine nuance in your earlier post :-)
