I will state that NeoOffice is technically a 'knock-off' product but is definitely better than running the X11 program under the PPC version of Mac OS X if you have no experience running Unix type programs. However, there is work underway to 'Aqua-fy' the current X11 OpenOffice product and this is on hold for now due to the summer holidays. I expect to see much more in the upcoming months. > > I've always wondered what the issues were between OOo for the MAC and > NeoOffice and was happy to learn that there is a version of OOo for > the Intel MAC. > You really don't want to know the whole story. I used to support NeoOffice and decided that my efforts would be best spent supporting OpenOffice.org.

I would wait at least three to four more months before buying one. James M.
