I am using version 2.0 of OpenOffice.org. My problem is :Using writer,I am not able to consistantly apply list styles to paragraphs by double clicking on a style in the applied styles list. ie. after applying a style (by double clicking) the resultant font size is not always the font size established in the style definition. I have studied the Writer user guide chapt 7 but am stumped. Also, more generally, I'm not sure I'm using the best method of formatting a doc from a template. What I'm doing is: 1) creating and manually formatting a doc and then saving the template 2)opening that template and copying an unformatted doc into it. 3)using the applied styles list, I go through the new doc and apply styles to each paragraph so the hopefully the new doc will look like the template. 4) I then delete the original doc from the new doc and save the new doc in the appropriate file. The results from this procedure are not consistant. ie. as stated above, when I apply the list1 style that is applied to the template doc the para style in the new doc is not always the same as in the template doc. Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated.
