I was careful to download the Mac intel version. I first installed the X11user.pkg from my Tiger install disk, then the openoffice version 2.0. I did not receive any errors while installing these two programs. However when I try to run OOo I get the menu bar but can not open a new document. Then I receive the message " Command Timed out " I see the X11 icon in the Dock pop up and down then this icon disappears. It seems the X11 program is trying to load but is prevented from doing so?. Not sure wha the problem is, is there another site I can download the X11user.pkg. I have deleted and installed these programs two times. Any sugestions. If you need more info let me know.
