This does work, and works well (at least when all languages are left-to-right, can't say about others). Being able to add language attributes to characters is great, and using styles solves all the problems I've had. I'd have thought it was not a corner case from the questions that have turned up on this last

Bi-lingual spell checking with English & Hebrew in the same document works well (one is RTL, the other is LTR). To be fair, this is a corner case only for mono-lingual users. And at this day and age with English being so wide spread, most of the computer users outside English speaking countries deal with bilingual documents to some level.
