I have a horrible feeling that this is a very dumb question, but I'm afraid it has me stumped..
I have successfully imported my existing data into a new database, and now I am trying to create a form to display and edit the data. I used the form wizard to create my form, and chose the option to have field titles display above their fields. However, I now want some fields (checkboxes in particular) to have their titles display alongside themselves (rather than above), in order to save space. Unfortunately, I can't see how to do this(!). I'd have thought there would be an option somewhere in the context menu to change the position of the field title relative to its field, but if there is, I can't find it. (On a related note, the "Control..." box accessible from the context menu contains fields for 'Name' and 'Label', but these are empty (and only seem to allow text to be entered rather than giving options to change the position). I'm not sure why these are empty, as the field name _is_ definitely displayed next to the field itself. Has the system not picked this up, somehow? Also, what is the difference between 'Name' and 'Label'?) And finally(!), is there an up-to-date Base manual or guide available somewhere? The OOo User Guide seems to have been last updated only before Base was included in OOo. Thanks in advance for any advice, David. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
