It is all in how you format your cells. The cells where the
subtraction formula are located should have the user format of
[HH]:MM.
To do this, right click a cell you will be placing the
subtraction formula. Select Format Cell from the context menu. Under
the Numbers tab click Time as the Category. Clear the Format code box
and enter the format I gave you. Click the green arrow to the right
of the Format code box, and click OK.
The brackets: [] are what make this work.
