Hi Vernon

Don't be embarrassed by your lack of knowledge. Actually what you are
asking is a reasonably advanced use of databases, in the sense that you
are wanting to use relational databases, and not just a simple stand
alone table.

I don't know the answer to your specific question, but you will be
needing to look up the relevant "help" files in OOo. (Choose the
OpenOffice.org Base" section in the drop down box at the dialog box.)

Since you are trying to access two tables in one form you will need to
create a subform in your main form.

I've looked around the documentation site
(documentation.openoffice.org) and information on base seems very
limited. I'm sure there is a suitable introduction in the user guide:
