Well, its a little more complicated than that, especially in newer editions of SUSE 10. They've messed with the package management, and fouled everything up (hence the reason I am now running Kubuntu). However, the RPMs that are with OOo are installable on SUSE as I believe in the Linux download edition there is even a "SUSE" specific RPM for the desktop. And YaST is, on a basic level, a front end for RPM that also handles a little of the more SUSE specific config functions. However, if you are running a purchased "SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop" you have a better version than you can download (even in the OOo Premium) anyway, from what I've read about it. -- See Ya' Howard Coles Jr. John 3:16! http://risenbooks.com Christian bookstore --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
