X11 for the 10.4 is on the installation disk in the Options folder. The X11 on the Apple site is for 10.3, and is not compatible with 10.4. That is a multi reported problem with OOO, That will also impede loading other non-mac applications like inkscape and other X11 programs. There are 2 improvements for that problem. OS10.5, and Neo office. Neo office is native MAC.

Happy Mac-ing.

I have just tried to install Open Office on my Mac computer which is running OS X 10.4.6. When I tried to open it I got a message saying I needed Apple X11 so I downloaded that. But then when I tried to use Apple X11 I got a message saying I didn't need it because I had more up to date software already on this computer! So what to do?
