did you find a "x11" programm in
/Applications/Utilities/ ?
Can you start ist via doubleklick?
If not, you should install X11 program before you try to install
OpenOffice.org.
You can read the version of the MacOS via "Apple-menu" - <About this
mac>
For OS X 10.3.x there is X11 downloads on the Apple website
http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/x11formacosx.html
For OS X 10.4.x you must install the right version from the installer
disk.
