the x11 on the os 10.4 install disk options file is the correct app.
The x11 on the apple site is for 10.3, and is not able to run under
10.4.
There are many messages pointing the correct sequence, so it isn't
you. Almost everyone using a10.4 makes the same wrong sequence of
downloads. The rewards are after you get everything running.
