I have been running Open Office with Win 98SE. No problems except it
mangles heavily formatted word documents.
Do you have Win 95, or 95B ? 95B is more likely to work well with Open
Office.
I bought Open Office CD from Cheap Bytes www.cheapbytes.com for about
$5. Thats a lot easier to do than downloading w/an old slow system.
You might need an earlier version of Open Office so that it works with 95.
If not available, you can get 98SE from a lot of resellers for about
$20. Don't settle for 98. 98SE is much better. Up grading to 98SE from
98 is not as good as having 98SE.
