Thank you for replying.

It appears that your installation maybe corrupt.  I will have to look at
my Windows XP installation, but it is on the Professional edition as my
wife is a student and had to use this version for one of her classes.

And yes, there should be an OpenOffice.org Writer file, from what I
remember.
