yes, I think it was an honest mistake. Many e-mail clients auto complete addresses and usually get the wrong one if you aren't exceedingly careful. I remember once I sent an e-mail to my wife about a doctors appointment she had the next day and I fumbled typed her address then sent without looking. The auto completion went to a mailing list... a big mailing list.
I am so glad I didn't say anything about which doctor or what the appointment was for...
