Thank you very much. I needed to have ticked "Group similar taskbar
buttons". Seems to have done it.

Must be some adjustment in the behaviour of your taskbar. OOo puts all my
open documents in on button. When I click the button I see a list with all
my open documents and I can click the one I want to see.

menu. Disconcertingly OpenOffice also lines them all up in the TaskBar. I
