[users] Auto Increment in MySql

I really need help in this. I can not design a table in openoffice-base and set a field to auto increment. I am connected to a remote MySql Server and I need to find a way to do this. Many posts stated that the auto increment option apears once you select the field you want to auto increment. That's not the case with me. Nothing shows up, and when I set the filed to  integer [Integer] and click save, it goes back to integer[Int]. I dont even know what 's differnece between them. All I need is to be able to set the auto-increment on a field.
