Thank you - I have not resolved the issue, not even after reinstall of system and Norton Internet Security with NAV. The file problem persists. Of course it is virus free, the openoffice file, but in general it turns out that 20% of files are not reported on screen but only in the reports menu of the NAV. It is your guess whichever is correct. Klaus
