A couple of comments on bibliographies. I am currently endeavouring to
prepare a 2nd edition of a textbook using only Open Office and I would
love to see better integration of Endnote with OOo. I would encourage
all suers to contact Endnote using the web site below to request this.
While OOo does have some built-in bibliography capabilities, my review
of the documentation suggests that they are not at all comparable to
those of dedicated bibliography packages (Endnote, Reference Manager
etc.) While the bibliography project may tackle this large gap ... in
the short run we should encourage vendors of existing packages to
support OOo

No there isn't but you can suggest to the developers of EndNote that
they add such support. It would be trivial. You can provide feedback

OpenOffice has built-in support for maintaining a bibliography - I
just had a quick browse through the OpenOffice help files, and it
looks easy enough to use.
There is also a project to greatly enhance OpenOffice's bibliography
