We are using OpenOffice.org 2.0.2, and experiencing the following difficulty.

We ordered a Compaq V3012AU notebook in Chiang Rai, specifying we would like a
Linux OS. The system was delivered from Bangkok with Ubuntu Linux Dapper Dan
6.06 installed. We can log in and display menus in either Thai or English, but
when running OpenOffice.org Word Processor we cannot enter text in Thai
language. We cannot determine what might be needed to remedy this as it appears
from all the searching for answers that everything suggested is installed. We
would like to be able to type documents in either English or Thai and have the
ability to embed text in both languages within the same document. To date we
can only type in English, and we would like to have the ability to toggle
quickly between either language, but have no idea what is required to make this
work. Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Joe Zinskie
