Your have to save your Writer files in MS-Word format (File > Save As).
MS Office cannot read OpenOffice files unless they are converted into MS
format. If your files use very complex features (specially tables,
pictures), maybe the conversion will not be perfect. You should verify
the result before using it with colleagues or students.
