Found the answer to my problem:
1 - Right click on the object
2 - select position and size
3 - I selected Anchor to Page
4 - Position: Horizontal: Center, Vertical: from top

However, in my opinion you found a work-around, rather than a solution.
Basically it should be no problem to have the objects anchored to
parapraphs etc. to keep them on the right position...
What do others think?
