Sorry but missed the origional post on this one.. question are you using page 
styles?  if not try that.. you can set the first page to "leftpage" and have 
it follow with default which would make the next page "rightpage" if you need 
a blank page..  insert "page break" and sellect the next style you want..  If 
you are not using styles you could save yourself a whole lot of time learning 
to use them.. Fred
