The term "tear" is meaningless to me. So, I had to do some
searching to figure out what you meant.
Entering "styles" in the Search window, I was given a list of
sub-choices. "styles;copying between documents" gave me the
information I needed in language I could understand. It is a drag and
drop process. A plain drag and drop moves the selected style, and
using CTRL while draging and dropping copies the style. I assume this
is what you meant.
