Not forgetting of course that some matrices don't have an inverse.

But I'm puzzled - matrix inversion is done by minverse in my copy of 
OOo (2.0.2/XP), and I find no mention of an inversemat anywhere. An 8x8 
identity matrix inverts just fine.
