In a stored file, English names are always used, so that's no problem.

Anyway, my comment about lack of an inverse for some matrices still stands, and there are matrices too, where inversion can be tricky because of arithmetical issues. Unless the OP posts his data, we'll never know.

He mailed me directly, saying it really was a matrix that can't be inverted. So, no problem there, either.
