Maybe this is an extension of the problem we found on the Mac version with 
trying to use Thunderbird mail.  You can invoke the program, but I cannot get 
the attachment to appear.  There is/was an issue with this and it involveds the 
method that Thunderbird uses to put attachments in a message from an external 
program.
