Sorry, James. I am but an innocent contributor. I was pointing out
that the discussion had gone in a circle.
James Knott was suggesting as a remedy the very thing which was not working.
On my Linux OS, there is no problem with 2.0.2.
It seems that the OP's problem has been fixed by reinstalling Thunderbird.
