Or if you have already installed OpenOffice.org (OOo), the
correct name for this office suite, you already have Base as part of
your installation. Note: you must have version 5 (1.5....) of JRE
(Java Runtime Environment) installed on your computer. It is
available from www.java.com. After installing it, you will need to
have OOo find it. Use Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org > Java. It
takes a little time for OOo to search for the JRE installation, and
then it lists the installations it finds. Make sure that you select
the most recent one (the one with the highest version number).
