A double click selects a whole word. A triple click selects the
paragraph.
In OOo 2.0 text documents, a double click selects a whole word, a triple
click selects a sentence, and a quadro (?) click selects a paragraph.
For words and sentences, you can keep holding down the mouse button
after the last click, then move the mouse to extend the selection by
words or sentences, respectively.
